Oakland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas is an historic cemetery containing graves of many people who shaped the legacy of Dallas and the Southwest. It is financed by a perpetual care fund administered by a small, all-volunteer, Board of Trustees.

We regret that, at present, there exist no on-line records of individual gravesites. If you wish to locate a specific grave or search for a specific name, your best bet is to contact the Sexton by phone at the number listed above, or use our Facebook page to contact our Board President to help facilitate your search. We are currently working to digitize several thousand handwritten index cards to improve our record-keeping process and availability.

We are also working to rebuild the maintenance fund, which has fallen below the level necessary to provide for all of the cemetery’s needs. Your charitable donations to the general fund are usually tax-deductible, and may be sent to the address above, or use the Paypal link.
